What You'll Get to Do:

Ticom Geomatics Inc (TGI), a CACI Company, is currently seeking a motivated system integrator/administrator for a fast-paced exciting role supporting a multitude of defense customers. Are you someone that likes to investigate and solve difficult problems, use your scripting skills to automate daily tasks, build physical and virtual machines from scratch and get them ready for deployment? As a system integrator on our team you will be the "go to" person for developers looking to deliver new capabilities and for operators supporting fielded systems. This role will make use of your system administration, networking, and troubleshooting skills on a variety of platforms in diverse environments.

This position is based in our Austin, TX office and requires 25% travel. For those outside of the Austin area, relocation assistance is considered on a case by case basis.

More About this Role:

  • Design and configure computer system architecture and network topology in support of sensor platform integration and theater netcentric geolocation (TNG) infrastructure

  • Install operating systems, Ticom Geomatics software, and 3rd party software packages on a variety of hardware platforms

  • Configure operating system and software per project requirements

  • Verify systems are functioning properly

  • Troubleshoot systems when problems occur

  • Work closely with developers, quality assurance, security, and support teams to achieve project objects

  • Travel to customer sites for new installations and test events

  • Provide level of effort estimates for integration tasks

  • Provide inputs for production schedules

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent a minimum of 5 years of related experience

  • An active TS/SCI clearance is required

  • US Citizenship is required

  • Current certification compliant with DoD 8570 IAT level I (COMPTIA Security +) (or the ability to get one in first 90 days)

  • Significant experience with Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems, system security, and making changes from the command line

  • Significant experience performing system administration tasks on Linux systems

  • Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals and concepts as they relate to overall system design

  • Ability to write code or scripts to automate software production processes

  • Experience with military qualification processes is desirable

  • Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs

  • Ability to manage tasks for multiple concurrent projects

  • Self-starter with good interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills

  • Significant experience configuring and managing complex networks, routers, firewalls

  • Ability to travel 25% at times

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with system security and accreditation processes

  • Previous experience with military Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and overall Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities, operations, and related qualifications is considered a plus

  • Ability to travel 25% to 50% at times

  • Red Hat certifications

  • CISCO certifications
