Demonstrate a proactive commitment to Danos safety program by complying with safety requirements, following all safety procedures, and by reporting/documenting safety incidences and near misses.
Provide automation solutions while always keeping the customer's best interest in mind.
Support a variety of DCS, PLC, and HMI platforms by having an in-depth understanding of the programming language and system limitations.
Perform startups, loop checking, troubleshooting and commissioning.
Produce and or work with standardized control system architecture and logic.
Work independently, with a team, or function as a technical lead on projects.
Debug logic programs, network errors, and HMIs across a variety of platforms.
Integration of oil & gas separators, motor control centers, rotating equipment, tanks, pressure control valves, flow control valves, VFDs, Burner Management Systems, electrical power distribution, generators, gas compressors, LACT units, fire and gas systems, well head control panels, gas lift, injection systems, etc.
Provide various internal and external reports and documents in a timely fashion.
Share the responsibility of taking service calls for pre-existing and new customers.
Exhibit proficiency and personal accountability for project performance and meeting customer needs.
5+ Years working as a System Integrator
Knowledge of industrial networks including setting up and supporting Ethernet, Modbus, fiber, managed switches, radios, ControlNet networks, Kepware, OPC, RSLinx, HART, communication gateways, protocol converters, and remote access.
Experience working with systems such as Rockwell, GE, Siemens, Modicon / Schneider, Honeywell, ABB, IFIX, Cimplicity, Wonderware, and various flow computers.
Experience working with supporting software such as SQL, VMware, Acronis, remote desktop, and Microsoft office products.
Experience installing operating systems and supporting software on standalone computers, as well as server / client architecture.
Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge in process controls, including the ability to identify the parameters involved - including the hazards.
Extensive experience with pressure transmitters, level transmitters, temperature transmitters, flow meters, analyzers, and other field devices.
Experience in calibrating all types of field devices, and understanding how to verify scaled values in the transmitters and in the control system.
Demonstrates knowledge in control panels, demonstrates the ability to read panel drawings, and understands panel functionality.
Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of low voltage AC and DC electrical circuits such as working with ohms law, series and parallel circuit configurations, and troubleshooting circuits utilizing a fluke multi-meter.
Experience in producing customer user manuals and other deliverables for highly customized systems.
Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
