Lockheed Martin Space in Sunnyvale, CA has an excellent System Integration/Test Engineer opportunity to work within the Special Programs organization. Special Programs has an excellent track record of stable programs with highly evolving technical requirements that drives subcontract changes on a regular basis. Special Programs has developed a significant number of future leaders with a wide variety of engagement programs and challenging work to develop individual potential.
This position is a member of the Special Programs project engineering team reporting to the Assembly, Test and Operations (ATLO) Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for several projects, managing the integration and test of hardware which includes the following:
Maintain, track and locate as needed program hardware including mechanical ground support equipment (MGSE), tooling and electrical ground support equipment (EGSE) in support of Vehicle builds
Perform preventative maintenance on ground support equipment
Support inter-facility hardware movement
Liaison between Special Programs and Facilities Maintenance in support of Special Programs needs. Track facility projects to ensure on time completion
Must have active TS/SCI Clearance, and ability to pass a polygraph

Understanding of facilities maintenance including Corrective Maintenance Requests (CM) and Facilities Maintenance Requests (FMR)
Understanding of Air Handling systems including temperature and humidity protocols
Project Management skills
Communication skills including customer interaction experience and cross functional planning
Microsoft Office suite experience especially in EXCEL
