Job Description:

Work as part of a Systems engineering team to develop System requirements from Customer requirements and develop requirements based verification tests for a DO-178B Level D Onboard Maintenance System avionics system.

Experience working to the agile development rhythm.

Tasks:

Develop and decompose System requirements from high level Customer requirements using the DOORS tool.

Trace requirements to existing System requirements using the DOORS tool.

Develop and execute Systems verification procedures in DOORS linked to System requirement statements within the DOORS tool.

Develop and maintain written test procedures within the DOORS tools, linked to System requirements.

Work to the Agile development method rhythm.

Track work and receive assignments using JIRA Stories.

Log defects using Dimensions PRs and JIRA Bugs.

Mandatory skills:

Creating and linking Objects within the DOORS tool.

Knowledge of requirement decomposition for avionic systems.

Developing System test cases and procedures.

Writing and tracking problem reports using the Dimensions tool.

Desirable Skills:

Experience using Eclipse or similar IDE.

Experience working to the Agile development rhythm and using Agile Stories to track work progress.

Participation in Agile Scrums and Retrospectives.

Experience using the Atlassian toolset, JIRA for task management, Confluence for engineering documentation.

Track work and receive assignments using Agile Stories in the JIRA tool.

Verification Tools development for DO-178B Level D avionics.

Knowledge of development to ARP4754.

Experience with aircraft Onboard Maintenance Systems.

In the role of Platform and Test Software Engineer, you will build a strong foundation for planning, developing, integrating, and executing assigned projects in collaboration with other adjacent team members under defined requirements and processes leading to final product deliveries.
