Systems Engineer Stf. will have the ability to contribute to initiatives within the assigned program. Seeking a Systems Engineer to work modernization through sustainment activities as well as developing new technological solutions for our customer. The engineer would work with collaborative engineering teams including hardware, software, systems, and integration and test engineering. Assignments will be performed during all life-cycle phases including requirements definition, design, development, test, and demonstration during each release and iteration. The engineer will also work with the team to pursue new business opportunities.

As a Systems Engineer Stf, you will:

  • Support Model-Based System Engineering MBSE efforts on multiple programs; solicit stakeholder needs for MBSE implementation

  • Develop architecture and interface documentation from model data

  • Elicit customer/stakeholder needs and requirements from model data

  • Use system design data from model to develop assembly, integration and verification data from model

  • Take on additional engineering modernization tasks, as needed

Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Individual must have a current and active US Department of Defense (DoD) TS security clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance with SCI
  • Experience with SysML and/or UML
  • Knowledge of or experience with object-

oriented methods

  • Familiarity with a Systems Engineering tool

such as CAMEO, Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect,


  • Knowledge of or experience with Agile


Desired Skills:

  • Prefer TS/SCI clearance. Minimal requirement

is a SECRET clearance with an ability to obtain a

TS clearance.

  • Proven team cooperation and communication


  • SE process and methodology development


  • Ability to embrace complex technical

challenges and apply 'systems thinking' for


  • Good with logic reasoning and logic

formulation (ex: behavior modeling)

  • Applied SysML and/or UML using a systems

engineering tool

  • Experience with integrated modeling (i.e. using

allocation concepts) using Cameo and/or

Rhapsody software

  • Model configuration management experience

  • Data modeling experience

  • Modeling as part of a SAFe or Agile

The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $97,500 - $186,900 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
