As a System Engineer

  • Mid (Analysis & Assessment) at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics you will work on a critical customer program utilizing proven and innovative analysis principles to determine performance capabilities and potential performance improvements to the GMD system. In this position you will plan, coordinate with team members and the customer, and execute analysis activities in accordance with relevant governing documents. This activity will include coordination and execution among multi-discipline teams and integrated digital platforms.

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Required Qualifications:

  • Position requires the ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • Experience using MATLAB/Python to develop analytical tools or perform numerical modeling of complex systems

  • Experience analyzing performance data from complex systems

  • Experience developing and briefing analysis results to leadership/customers

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience performing systems analysis or performance analysis on an MDA program and/or GMD
  • Demonstrated experience developing analysis tools with Python and MATLAB on an MDA program and/or GMD
  • Demonstrated experience briefing analysis results to leaders/customers on an MDA Program and/or GMD
  • Demonstrated experience leading small analysis teams in support of MDA Program and/or GMD test events

Work Location: Huntsville, AL

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$99,000 - $177,000
