Overview:

Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems
Be given a problem, design a solution, see through until implementation, analyze effectiveness
Hands on Machine Experience
Help with machine setup and operations.
Proficient in GMP/GDP
Statistical software experience (Minitab)
Proficient in presenting data, concepts and solutions to wide audience

Primary Skills:

Preference is for a senior engineer with at least 5 years experience at that level in the medical device industry, with same minimum experience in compliance to global industry regulations.
The specific engineering discipline to be mechanical
Excellent written and oral English communication and interpersonal skills are expected for complete, efficient, and timely communications with fellow team members
Proficiency with MicroSoft Office Word, Excel, and Power Point applications is required, with any experience in Sharepoint and PTC Windchill a plus.
Statistical software experience (Minitab)
Proficient in presenting data, concepts and solutions to wide audience
Process development experience

Secondary Skills:

Working knowledge of project management methodologies
Demonstrated initiative; results oriented; willingness and ability to institute change
Ability to communicate effectively in multi-discipline environment, and cross cultures and level of organization
Proficient verbal and written communication skills; including experience in writing and presentation skills
Proficient in presenting data, concepts and solutions to wide audience
Process development experience

LOCATION Fort Worth JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY Engineer is responsible to verify and review Electromagnetic effects of systems , qualification test plans JOB DESCRIPTION Electromagnetic Environmental Effects Engineer-Fort Worth, TX Seeking a self-motivated Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer to join an Innovation Team and support the development of new and novel products and platforms. The E3 requirements associated with the integration of vehicles in urban environments, including Air Taxi and Logistics transportation/delivery are meaningful and exciting. The emerging concept vehicles provide opportunities for engineering, simulation and test of configurations and technologies that will shape the future of aviation. This position will be part of a diverse team of engineers capable of executing in an energizing environment. The Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer is responsible for developing, managing and communicating the E3 methodology to internal and external customers. Position Responsibilities: * Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate air vehicle, weapons, and avionics with respect to E3 systems engineering. * Develop and communicate E3 approach and methodology to management. * Determine System level E3 targets and work with IPTs to develop IPT level targets. * Performs air vehicle and systems level analyses to verify performance. * Plan, support, and lead E3 testing to meet qualification requirements. * Work closely with IPTs to review evolving design and provide E3 input into their decisions, providing E3 impacts to all Design Decision Notices. * Tracks, designs and develops E3 estimates based on preliminary and detail design layouts. * Suggest design improvements / spiral opportunities to improve E3 performance. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required. Major in Electrical Engineering is preferred. * Major in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering may be considered with sufficient experience. * Masters Degree is preferred. Position Requirements: * At least 9 years of E3 experience on airborne platforms. * Expertise in aerospace design and verification processes to include requirements development and verification. * Skilled in preliminary and detailed design * Proficiency with MRP, Planning, Manufacturing is strongly preferred. * Must have the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to coordinate E3 activities, prioritize tasks, and report status. * Must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal * and external suppliers, as well as horizontal integrations across the other teams. * PC proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required. * Must have the ability to work effectively within a team. * Good interpersonal and organizational skills are required.
