Responsible for planning and design of end-user technology that leads to improvements with the end-user experience
Essential Job Duties:
Assists with the building, testing, setting, and maintaining of standards for End-User technology within the environment [roadmap].
Responsible for maintenance of image builds and software packages utilizing tools such as Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
Maintain test environment to facilitate developing implementation plans and gauging impact.
Maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure efficient planning and execution.
Manage and document system state configurations.
Oversees projects, provides reporting and updates as needed; develops transition plans into production.
Responsible for handling numerous third-party ancillary application maintenance and support.
Engage third-party vendors to find innovative solutions meeting technology needs.
Assists with L3 System support ticket escalations.
Assists as SME to L2/L3 support staff.
Participates in 24x7 on-call.
Assumes other duties as assigned.
Basic QualificationsEducation & Experience:
4-year College Degree in BS/MS (EE/CS/CE) or equivalent experience required.
2+ years of experience developing inventive solutions for supporting: MS Windows Operating System, building system images and Microsoft SCCM; Apple OS; MS Office Support; deploying workstations and laptop refresh; full disk encryption for laptops and desktops; Active Directory user and group policy management
4+ years of experience developing inventive solutions for supporting end-user hardware: Multi-user computer, computer terminals, printers, scan guns, telecommunications equipment
Experience with Windows Automation; VB and Power Shell Scripting.
