Bridges is seeking a System Engineer to support our government customer. The System Engineer will be responsible for deployment of new solutions into existing cloud resources or off-premise infrastructure. Primarily responsibilities include accepting requests for service or capacity via web, email, or phone; working with customers to clarify and understand their requirements; and be initial UCS customer.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of one or more cloud based platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google, OpenStack
  • Experience accepting requests for service by working with customers to clarify and understand their requirement.
  • Experience conducting procedures for testing, installation, system maintenance, troubleshooting, and recovery
  • Knowledge of the purpose of the basic common cloud services including Compute, Storage, Memory, Load Balancing, DNS

Good to have

  • Windows and Linux system administration

The National Security Solutions (NSS) Division provides cyber solutions to a wide range of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations. Position Description: Analyzes users requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations. Develops technical documentation. Develops system Architecture and system design documentation. Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Experience Requirements: * Fourteen (14) years experience as a System Engineer or in a similar type of capacity * Significant tactical payload radio frequency systems engineering experience specifically in the areas of GOTS/COTS tactical SIGINT payloads and/or capabilities; tactical SIGINT collection sensor development, integration, testing, certification, deployment, and training. * Engineering and/or programmatic experience with Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) SIGINT technologies for Group 1 through Group 5 UAS platforms; understand UAS systems engineering development, integration, testing, certification, deployment and training. * Experience authoring Functional Collections Requirements Documents, Operational Concepts (CONOPs), Data Flow and Communications Architectures Documents, and TPED Functional Requirements Documents. * Program, portfolio, or project execution experience with Cost, Schedule, and Performance of projects. * Working knowledge and understanding of tactical signal analysis development and operations organizations * Working knowledge and understanding of the Military Service organizations and/or personnel associated with tactical SIGINT technologies. * Applicant must be a forward leaning self-starter requiring little daily oversight. * Must be willing to travel OCONUS for short-term deployments Degrees: * Bachelor's Preferred Physical Requirements: * Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% * Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. * The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations * Working With Data * Move about freely in a laboratory setting * Repetitive Motions Clearance Requirement: * TS/SCI with Polygraph ManTech International Corporation, as well as its subsidiaries proactively fulfills its role as an equal opportunity employer.
