Our Agile Development Environment Team within the Mission Planning Element of the Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) program is looking for an innovative and dynamic Systems Engineer-IT! As part of the team, you will use your systems engineering-IT and systems administration skills to support the mission planning element of an advanced satellite communication ground system that's critical to our customers and our Lockheed Martin SPACE business.
You will be applying your skills to provide systems engineering-IT solutions to our Agile Development Environment Team. If you like solving difficult problems, this position is for you as you will be implementing solutions and developing new features for our operational system. In addition, you will be part of a team that will be implementing the next generation of our AEHF Ground System. Strong experiences in Systems Engineering-IT, Systems Administration, specifically in Windows. Experienced in STIGS, creating virtual machines, patching, Windows HW and OS. Additional experience with Networks and McAfee is desirable.
Responsibilities would include a subset of the following:
Generate HW Install View charts to reflect current and future environment. Install view/environment queries, MERB Install View, assist with updates for proposal and contract purposes.
Continuous monitoring of on-demand scans for McAfee (weekly), ensuring VSE is present on all workstations/servers (daily), checking ePO logs, would help if they're AFT trained (ePO CDS, McAfee HP)
Perform 60-day patching of McAfee Agent, VirusScan Enterprise, Endpoint Security, McAfee CommandLine Scanner, McAfee Exchange Security, ePO server, and Scan Engine across RHEL, Win, Solaris. Migration from VirusScan Enterprise to Endpoint Security for Windows sometime this year
Windows COTS STIGS - Assess, configure, and roll out Windows STIGs via GPOs.
Conduct EOS/EOL assessments on identified A and B COTS products, updating PTDB, sponsoring MERB, TEM of the assessments, assistance with threat packages, sponsor of RIMB topic covering updates.
Conducting COTS Assessments for products listed above every 60 days, patching Java, updating Java STIG files, and JRE junction for Jenkins/SLOCCO via SCCM, rolling out BIOS updates to all workstations (VF, Col, MD) via SCCM, manually updating HP workstations.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Developing strong Systems Engineering-IT, Systems Administration and computer security skills through applied experience.
Understanding / proficiency in application containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, etc.), Gitlab and Gitlab runners, scripting
Windows and/or RHEL experience
Experience with Agile software development methodology
Results driven, Strong problem solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative, team environment
