JOB SCOPE

The Systems Engineer III will be responsible for troubleshooting, resolving and documenting issues within a large, customer-facing, wireless broadband network environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Apply fundamental knowledge of IP routing, wireless access and infrastructure systems to quickly assess and resolve wireless service impairments
Contribute to the development of internal support processes and procedures
Provide articulate verbal and/or written impact assessments to management in English
Aggressively pursue high standard of network and system performance and availability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to proactively identify and resolve potential system, network and customer impacts in the maintenance window
Perform other, collateral duties as requested by management
BASIC / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Interdisciplinary Telecom, Wireless & Cellular Communicationsor, or related field or equivalent work experience
3 years Network Operations work experience
3 years Wireless systems work experience
3 years System Administration work experience
3 years Enterprise Application Integration work experience
ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Proficiency using multiple, industry standard, operating system environments including Linux, Cisco IOS/NX-OS, JunOS, VMWare
Proficiency leveraging packet-analysis tools and network analytics platforms to troubleshoot or characterize network traffic
Exposure to and functional knowledge of IP routing, and routing protocols such as BGP, ISIS and OSPF
Experience with large distributed networks and MSO / Wireless Operator topologies
Exposure to service enabling protocols and platforms such as DHCP, DNS, RADIUS, PMIP
Experience with the following equipment is a plus: Cisco UCS, Ruckus vSZ/SCG/ZD, Cisco WLC, Cisco Nexus/ASR, Nokia 7750, Netscout Infinistream
Extended availability after business hours or on-call, as required by the business, in an on-call posture
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

CCNA/CCNP (Wireless)
CWNP Certified Wireless Network Administrator

VIEW JOBS 12/9/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-09T00:00 Description: Maintains revenue cycle systems, analyzes end to end revenue cycle processes, and oversees and ensures the accuracy and integrity of Kaiser Permanente's financial data. Recommends modifications to established practices and procedures or system functionality and implements as needed to support revenue cycle. Provides analytic research and critical thinking, reviewing and analyzing system functionality, recommending, designing and developing solutions, performing configuration changes and responding to end user problems, issues and requests. Maintains and supports a culture of compliance, ethics and integrity. Maintains knowledge of policies and procedures and performs in accordance with the Principles of Responsibilities and applicable regulatory requirements, external laws and accreditation standards. Reports appropriately, observed fraud or abuse. Essential Responsibilities: Supports and maintains existing applications and performs system analysis and troubleshooting to resolve end-user issues and technical problems. Performs root cause analysis of data and workflow issues and participates in cross-application solution design (system and/or workflow based). Researches, configures, tests and implements new functionality and applications to support revenue cycle processes to ensure accurate, complete and efficient data flow. Manages implementation of recommended changes. Works with internal customers to ensure newly implemented workflows and procedures support revenue cycle integrity. Directs analysis of enterprise-wide complex customer needs. Creates thorough system design and build documentation. Collaborates with Revenue Cycle management, KP HealthConnect clinicals support team, Medical Group, vendors, National and Regional teams, KPIT and other internal KP departments. Grows expertise in KPHealthConnect (Epic) end to end data flow and Kaiser Permanente revenue cycle processes. Performs analysis of reports relating to financial data completeness and accuracy. Works independently or with others on the team as appropriate. Participates in multiple projects at once as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: Experience Minimum four (4) years of experience in the areas of project management, data analysis, business or health care, or related areas (Other systems maintenance and support activities experience may be considered.). Education Bachelor's degree in business, finance, health care, science, engineering, information technology or related field OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field. High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required. License, Certification, Registration Will be required to obtain Epic certification or proficiency within 6 months of attending Epic training. Additional Requirements: Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using independent judgment. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and research skills are required. Preferred Qualifications: Two (2) years of experience performing system analysis and maintenance within a medical record system, preferably Epic is preferred. Proficiency or certification in an Epic application is strongly preferred. Demonstrated working knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Primary Location: Colorado,Aurora,Waterpark I 2500 S.
