Job Title: System Engineer I C

Department: Technology

Reports To: Director of Technology

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

SUMMARY Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains network electronics and software

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support and monitor cloud-based endpoint protection solutions

• Configure and manage district computer desktop images

• Configure and manage district management and distribution software

• Support and install computer software applications

• Provide end-user support for all hardware and software applications

• Browser configuration and support for district online testing

• Antivirus installation and maintenance

• Configure and support wireless printer software

• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate degree or its equivalent and at least five years experience in technology or related field.

SKILLS Ability to read analyze, and interpret technical documents and procedure manuals. Ability to respond orally and in written form accurately, professionally, and effectively to inquires and complaints from administrators, employees, and vendors.

Possess a working knowledge of network operating systems, servers, and data center operations. Ability to work with and apply mathematic concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions. Ability to solve practical problems.

Ability to work on multiple, complicated tasks. Ability to lead and direct the work of others.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS A+ Certification, Network+, and Google and Microsoft Admin certification (These are the current preferred certifications; other certifications may be required in the future.)
