VectorCSP is looking for an experienced System Engineer to work in the Moorestown, NJ area.

Job Summary:Provide US Coast Guard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) acquisition project system requirements and data management support. The position requires analyzing, tracing, prioritizing and managing system requirements and communicating those requirements to relevant stakeholders which include system design architects, system engineers and system test specialists.

Requirements:

  • Secret Clearance Required

Education and Experience:

  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science or related field or combination of studies and technically relevant experience.

  • Five years of experience in supporting development, deployment and sustainment of naval C4ISR systems.

  • Working knowledge of DOORS, ClearQuest, and Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Essential Duties:

  • Manage Sea Commander and related C4ISR system requirements.

  • Assist with requirements verification, validation and mapping.

  • Deliver requirements trace for verification and test procedure development.

  • Perform analysis for Engineering Review Boards.

  • Provide feedback at Software Engineering Review Boards.

  • Provide recommendations for improved interoperability with Coast Guard applications, including National Security Cutter (NSC) Sea Commander C4ISR system and Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Seawatch Command and Control system.

  • Update DOORS database with changes to requirements and specifications.

  • Review ClearQuest databases for potential impacts to requirements.

  • Accesses ClearQuest databases to identify current Software Change Request (SCR)/Computer Program Change Request (CPCR) status and recommend prioritization.

  • Deliver requirements trace for verification and test procedure development.

  • Update Interface Design Specifications and Application Programming Interfaces for interoperability with other systems

  • Prepare presentations for Weapons Systems Explosive Safety Review Board (WSESRB), Software System Safety Technical Review Panel (SSSTRP), Technical Assist Events, and Technical Data Packages (TDP).

  • Review TDP's for accuracy, completeness, consistency and clarity

  • Prepare presentations for Mission Readiness Assessments (MRA) and Combat System Certification Panels (CSCP)

  • Measure and report operational and technical progress to meet Key Performance Parameters

  • US Coast Guard CGONE Wide Area Network support and help desk tickets and maintain trouble ticket log for CGONE network issues.

  • Planning, coordination, scheduling and execution of program management reviews for senior leaders to include in-house production of presentation materials, assembling document binders and delivering presentations for reviews.

  • Coordinating maintenance visits by external IT support departments.

  • Submitting facility problems and the tracking of problem resolutions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to manage local access to the CG Portal web-based information management website.

  • Ability to manage local access to the US Navy Naval Systems Engineering Resource Center (NSERC) web-based information management website.

  • Ability to manage local access to the US Coast Guard Windchill C$ISR legacy database and perform data mining as required.

  • Ability to manage MS Office Suite applications to include Outlook (including multiple organizational calendars) Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to manage the permanent secure facility access process and temporary visitor access; this includes tracking all visit and security request statuses using Visitor Information System (VIS) and Visitor Authorization Request (VAR) processes to ensure compliance with contract requirements.

  • Ability to coordinate and deliver support across multiple stakeholders and customers.
