System Engineer 1

Description:

Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is the Surface Quality team working in the ship room managing the ship room.

Key projects: This role will be to test cases and test scenarios for PC software features and components. Running the quality ship rooms coordinate tasks ensure tasks are being completed.

Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 30-40 meetings/ship room triages/work with stakeholders 60 debugging and triage the bugs.

Responsibilities

Design develop and execute test cases and test scenarios for PC software features and components

Debug and troubleshoot software issues and defects using various tools and techniques

Report and document test results and defects in a clear and concise manner

Continuously partner with Quality leads to ensure bugs hygiene is maintained

Collaborate with software developers product managers and other stakeholders to ensure software quality and customer satisfaction

Provide feedback and suggestions for software improvement and enhancement

Candidate Requirements

Years of Experience Required: 2 overall years of experience

Degrees or certifications required: Degree in engineering or system engineering is required for the role.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field

At least 2 years of experience in Windows software testing and System debugging

Excellent communication analytical and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset

Top 3 Hard Skills Required Years of Experience

1.Minimum 2 years experience with System debugging system level hardware debugging.

2.Minimum 2 years experience with test engineer user level testing run scripts collecting logs.

3.Minimum 0-2 years of quality oriented strong written and verbal communication.
