As a System Development Engineer, you will:

A week in the life of a System Development Engineer:
Provides independent support in a variety of areas to include Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), Digital Signal Processors (DSP), Windows devices Drivers, Embedded SQL, Video Transcoding, Bandwidth Aggregation, and OCR data processing.
Provides leadership and research in advanced software engineering concepts.
Provides solutions to highly complex problems of a specialized product or design development, with a wide range of projects or programs.
Responsible for requirements analysis, subsystem allocation, performance analysis, and system engineering leadership.
Creates, develops, and designs complex and difficult mechanisms, system equipment requiring a broad knowledge of several fields.
Leads and directs design teams to determine the qualification and appropriate application of new technologies.
Prepares reports relating to assignments, as required. Maintains technical competence and state-of-the-art expertise in areas of technical specialization.

Bachelor's Degree (BS) with 8+ years of relevant experience required or Associates Degree (AS) with 12 years relevant experience.
Active Top-Secret Clearance.
