System Architect (Senior) Lead

Amentum is now hiring for several System Architect (Senior) LEAD positions in support of the Field, Lab and Air Integration / Experimentation / Modeling and Risk Reduction (FLAIR) office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and other locations. This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment FLAIR core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of FLAIR and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within FLAIR

Position Description

The candidate will perform the following duties:

• Lead System, Technical and Evaluation of C5ISR Networks, providing overall direction and guidance to support staff. Development, security, and operations (DevSecOps) with 10 years supporting C5ISR projects. Knowledge of current C5ISR, tactical networks, mission command systems, and network architecture and operations.

• Designs, validates, and implements scalable system infrastructure such as servers and databases.

• Evaluates and analyzes complex systems architecture for performance and efficiency improvements. Defines coding and technological architectural standards.

• Develops and documents company's hardware and network infrastructure setups.

• May code and write scripts to automate tasks.

• Has experience in planning goals for system and/or network operations.

• Can clearly translate user needs to system and/or network design.

• Ability to design and implementation of complex systems, components, interfaces, and

• interactions.

• Knowledge of Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) design and test as well as innovative techniques to achieve LVC capability integration with the U.S. and its coalition partners.

• Must have proven experience implementing advanced concepts in Architecture, Analysis, Design, and Development (A2D2) as they apply to lab-based testing and risk reduction of emerging C5ISR systems.

• Must possess an understanding of Joint Coalition Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance networks and systems integration.

• Can create system and/or network management processes and documentation.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline is required.

• 10 years of experience in DoD and commercial sectors specializing in project management, research & development, technical demonstrations, field and lab-based integration testing, data collection, reduction, and analysis.

• 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.

• Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience

• Possesses an understanding of Joint Coalition Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance networks and systems integration.

• Ability to design and implementation of complex systems, components, interfaces, and
