System Administrator Ts/Sci Clearance Required

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a System Administrator to join a 7-year, federal program in Washington, DC. This is an onsite position that requires 5 day per week onsite. The System Administrator will be responsible for operating and maintaining Microsoft Windows and Linux servers to include operating systems and applications, patching, and other updates.

MUST HAVE ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE & WILLINGNESS TO TAKE POLYGRAPH EXAM

Responsibilities of the System Administrator:

• Develop solutions to enable secure and reliable operations of enterprise computer systems

• Performs systems administration of cyber tools sets and server systems connected to networks across multiple classification domains

• Provide support to developmental and operational systems for all client/server/storage/network devices, etc

• Install, configure and manage operating system and application software as necessary

• Support Windows and Linux systems engineering efforts in system design and evaluation, solution engineering, software development, and system administration

Qualifications for the System Administrator:

• 3+ years of experience as a system administrator

• Experience with operating and maintaining Microsoft Windows and Linux servers

• Experience installing/configuring devices, applications, and security tools including Splunk and HBSS

• Experience automating deployments and configuration management

• Experience with installing/configuring Splunk and HBSS

• Knowledge of different layers of the technology stack, including network, application frameworks, database systems, and vendor solutions

• Experience scripting in PowerShell and/or BASH command line interfaces

• DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification requirements (currently Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND)

Compensation of the System Administrator:

• Salary Range: $125,000 - $140,000 depending on experiences & non-negotiable above this range
