• Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain Tableau Server infrastructure according to best practices and organizational requirements.

• User Management: Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions on Tableau Server. Ensure appropriate access levels are assigned to users based on their roles and responsibilities.

• Content Management: Oversee the publishing, organization, and maintenance of Tableau workbooks, data sources, and other content on Tableau Server. Manage projects, folders, and permissions to ensure content governance.

• Server Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor Tableau Server performance, resource utilization, and health status. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backups, upgrades, and patches, to ensure server reliability and availability.

• Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security policies, data governance standards, and regulatory compliance requirements on Tableau Server. Configure authentication methods, SSL encryption, and access controls to protect sensitive data.

• License Management: Manage Tableau Server licenses, including allocation, tracking usage, and compliance with licensing agreements. Optimize license usage and costs by identifying underutilized licenses or opportunities for consolidation.

• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to Tableau users, addressing issues related to server connectivity, performance, access permissions, and data sources.

• Dashboard Development: Design and develop Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations based on business requirements and user needs. Create interactive and insightful visualizations to enable data-driven decision-making.

• Data Preparation and Integration: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Tableau for analysis and visualization. Cleanse, reshape, and aggregate data to create meaningful insights.

• Data Modeling: Design and optimize data models within Tableau to support complex analyses and reporting requirements. Define relationships, hierarchies, and aggregations to structure data for efficient querying and visualization.

• Performance Optimization: Optimize Tableau dashboards and workbooks for performance and usability. Identify and address performance bottlenecks, such as slow queries or excessive data volumes, to improve response times.

• Version Control and Collaboration: Implement version control practices for Tableau workbooks and data sources to manage changes and collaborate effectively with other developers. Use Tableau Server or other collaboration tools for sharing and reviewing work.

• User Training and Support: Provide training and support to Tableau users on dashboard usage, navigation, and interaction. Create user documentation, tutorials, and help users maximize the value of Tableau dashboards.
