System Administrator - Tampa, FL - Top Secret Clearance

System Administrator needed for a long-term contract opportunity with SOC's client to work in Tampa, Florida.

Active Top Secret Clearance is required!

Responsibilities

• Manages and maintains enterprise servers, virtual machines, and storage systems.

• Works with developers, service teams, project teams, and stakeholders to identify storage needs for systems, applications, and services.

• Develops and implements backup solutions.

• Monitors and administers VMs to meet capacity and performance requirements.

• Conducts monitoring and preventative maintenance of enterprise components, VMs, and related content management systems.

• Must utilize the technologies and solutions to support the deployed infrastructure.

• Must be able to handle any issues related to Data Storage, Scale-out Storage, Networking and Servers

• Creates systems backups

• Monitors system performance to prevent slowdowns and crashes

• Must adhere to safety standards and report hazardous situations.

• Provides Technical Support

• Maintains systems security

Qualifications

• Must have an active Top Secret clearance

• 5 years of relevant work experience

• VMWare Experience, Data Domain, Dell Server Backup

• Storage System, server and enterprise network backup experience

• Shall have DELL EMC Enterprise backup Services/Solutions Knowledge

• Experience performing operational duties of backups, maintenance on applications and OS, patching, tuning, and troubleshooting

• Flexible working hours - able to support occasional nights, weekends, and call-ins

• Able to quickly adapt to a constantly changing environment

In compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the hourly rate range for this role is $65.00 to $85.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
