System Administrator

Salary: $70,000 | Schedule: 1st Shift

Qualifications:

• 3 years of previous experience
• Proficiency in Windows/IBM servers and network administration
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, DHCP, server virtualization, and database administration (MS SQL & AS400)
• Familiarity with Cisco equipment

System Administrator Responsibilities

• Administer IT network infrastructure, including server management, network configurations, and firewalls.
• Manage data backups, storage needs, and ensure timely software updates and patches.
• Oversee the company's helpdesk, managing onboarding/offboarding, user support tickets, troubleshooting, and post-resolution follow-ups.
• Configure, deploy, service, and upgrade personal computers, maintaining hardware/software inventory and contracts.
• Maintain user access controls, system permissions, and implement basic security measures (e.g., antivirus, MFA, encryption).
• Backup administrator for core business applications (Google Workspace, O365, Salesforce, etc.).
• Conduct system/network assessments, document processes, and identify IT process improvements for strategy development.
