Under the supervision of and in collaboration with the Director of Information Technology Services, the System Administrator is responsible for maintaining the college's ERP system and various other integrated systems & applications.
This position will assist in effectively maintaining a secure environment and adhering to various regulations and standards; assisting in audits; developing and maintaining documentation; and working with various stakeholders of the college to resolve issues and support their efforts.
This position will remain open until filled. For best consideration, submit application and supporting documents no later than June 30, 2024.
Administration of the College's ERP systems
Responsible for the day-to-day operations to include, resolving user reported problems or issues
Respond to emergency situations as needed, during and after normal business hours, to identify, assess and mitigate critical operational issues
Tasks include patching, testing, installing and implementation as required
Maintain Production & Test environments
Maintain effective backups of systems, as needed, to meet requirements and regulations
Administration of other systems and applications that integrate with the College's ERP systems.
Use reporting tools to create reports & assist with various institutional, state, and federal reports and audits as needed
Ensure all technology polices are followed as set by the College, State & Federal government regulations
Maintain a "Least Privilege" approach to user access to all systems
Work with the Director of Information Technology Services to establish & maintain an effective Cybersecurity program following required standards & best practices
Develop, maintain and update documentation of all systems installed or administered and related tasks including creating how-to manuals to supplement support documentation as needed
Manage & maintain other systems, services or applications as needed by the college to support students, employees & the college's efforts
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Information Technology Services

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Must Haves
Strong understanding of Database Concepts & SQL Query Language, including data security and integrity
Understanding of data reporting concepts and data analysis
Linux & Unix administration
Microsoft Active Directory administration
Understanding of Virtualization & Cloud Computing concepts and architectures
Understanding of programming logic & scripting
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group (students, faculty, and staff)
Ability to manage multiple projects & activities at once and prioritize effectively
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or information Technology related program
Current and applicable certification(s) relating to job duties and functions
