Responsibilities:
Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network device, etc.
Provide Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to the customers management team and internal customers
Configures and manages Linux operating systems and installs/loads
Configures, manages, maintains and troubleshoots virtualization infrastructure
Create scripts for the management of system configurations, systems processes
Work with appropriate entities on the creation and sustainment of dataflows using COTS and GOTS solutions
Work with the System Owner, ISSO and DAO on the creation, modification and reaccreditation of applicable System Security Plans and accompanying documentation
Here's what you need:
Minimum 10 years Red Hat Linux Experience, or a derivative like CentOS or Fedora
Experience provisioning systems, configuring systems, patching and managing systems, and securing/hardening systems
Perform operating system troubleshooting; maintain integrity of systems; and configure network components, to implement system enhancements
Knowledge of systems and network security, auditing, and user authentication
Managing resources in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and VMWare
Maintaining system configurations with Git, Ansible, Salt
Monitoring systems using Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack or Open Search
Implementing STIGS (or similar rulesets) to ensure security compliance
Creating and maintaining orchestrated container deployments using Docker, Helm, Kubernetes
Creating and maintain databases such as Postgres, Neo4j, Elastic Search or OpenSearch
Managing data flows using Apache Niagara Files
Ten (10) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.Qualifications - Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems -Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems - Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems - Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems -Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. -Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems - Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to management and internal customers - Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning - Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process -Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems -Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance -Provide detailed analysis and feedback to management and internal customers for escalated tickets
