JOB TITLE: Cybersecurity Administrator
WAGE/HOUR STATUS: Exempt
REPORTS TO: Director of Technical Services and Customer Initiatives
PAY GRADE: Technical - 03 (230 Days)

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Develop, maintain, and monitor client support applications, including but not limited to SCCM, EPM, KMS, print and licensing services. Google Workspace Configuration and Management. Configure and manage end-point devices including deploying approved applications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education/Certification:
High School diploma or equivalent with relevant experience; Associate's Degree or higher with major coursework in computer science, management information systems or electronic engineering preferred.
Current Microsoft certification preferred or willingness to complete current industry certification requirements within two (2) years.
Special Knowledge/Skills
Knowledge of client support applications including but not limited to Microsoft Configuration Manager, Microsoft Key Management Services, Windows Print Services, Licensing Services.
Knowledge of SCCM/Intune co-management.
Knowledge of End-Point Privilege Management (EPM).
Knowledge of creating and deploying software applications.
Knowledge of creating and deploying district software images.
Knowledge of creating, testing and deploying group policies.
Knowledge of Active Directory user and computer accounts.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
Knowledge of network facilities, personal computer hardware/software, network operating systems, TCP/IP networking, security software.
Able to comprehend technical manuals, procedural documentation and OEM guides.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent software and hardware troubleshooting skills.
Strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), and interpersonal skills.
Minimum Experience:
Experience building images, updating drivers, patching workstations, and packing and deploying Microsoft Windows software.
Experience with administration tools (Active Directory, Group Policy, printer deployment methods, Event Log monitoring, KMS, etc.).
Experience with installing and managing Workstation Operating Systems.
Ability to organize, plan, and implement applications with minimal guidance and
oversight.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Set up and maintain client images, create and deploy software packages and scripts with deployment services and group policies.
Configure and manage district EPM software.
Configure and manage Google Workspace devices, users, and apps.
Follow industry best practices to perpetually maintain a high security environment by deploying application and operating system patches in a timely manner to minimize cybersecurity risk.
Test and deploy Microsoft Group Policy for users and clients in the District.
Maintain Microsoft Key management Services.
Maintain SCCM; test and approve client Windows updates.
Configure and maintain Licensing applications.
Maintain and troubleshoot Active Directory user and computer accounts and groups.
Assist with RFP/RFQ preparation, test demo units and work with awarded vendor to deploy devices.
Install, test and configure commercially developed network software and operating systems and assist in the evaluation of network hardware and software.
Assist the cyber security team in current networking applications, content filtering products, and virus protection utilities.
Preserve confidentiality of sensitive information.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful project implementation.
Communicate on a regular basis with supervisor about current projects.
Demonstrate positive customer service relationships.
Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Technical Services.

Should be able to interpret procedures and analyze data for decision-making. Frequent in-district and occasional out-of-district travel. Occasional prolonged and irregular hours. Ability to check and/or install network systems
