TITLE: System Administrator

LOCATION: Fairmont, WV

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, On-site

POSITION SUMMARY

EWA Government Systems Inc. (EWA-GSI), Fairmont, West Virginia, has an immediate opening for a System Administrator to augment the core team that develops and implements a variety of computer-based products for our military customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to):

This position is in support of ongoing software development programs. The selected candidate will work in a structured, multidisciplinary team environment in Fairmont, WV. Qualified candidate will:

• Provide proactive monitoring and maintenance of all machines and backups.

• Provide advice and training to end-users.

• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

• Conduct STIG reviews utilizing ACAS and manual checks to ensure DoD Security is being met.

• Work with ISSO/ISSM to monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources; Security Policies and Procedures, Continuity Plan, and Incidence Response Plan.

• Collaborate with ISSO/ISSM to create and track POA&Ms, exceptions, and mitigations.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active DoD security clearance.

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field OR high school diploma/GED plus five (5) years of relevant experience in system administration of LAN/WAN systems, systems maintenance and systems monitoring/reporting is required.

• Linux experience required.

• Strong understanding of virtual and physical networking configuration.

• Strong hardware, software and network troubleshooting skill set.

• Preferred skills for the selected applicant:

• Experience with Bash, Python and/or Perl scripting.

• Experience with Ansible.

• Experience with Git based environments.

• DoD 8570/DoN 5239 IAT Level II certification (Security + CE).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess an Active DoD security clearance.
