The position may filled at the System Administrator II or III level depending qualifications and skills of the selected candidate.

Step placement for current staff is based on applicable Personnel Rules. Job Summary: Systems Administrator II Under the general administrative direction of the Information Systems (IS) Director, the Systems Administrator II will manage solutions, provision new servers based on requirements, and document current and new environments for Bartlett Regional Hospital.

Primary duties include: Designs, implements, and integrates new hardware, configurations, software, and services and adheres to IT design and operational criteria and standards. Ensures that all server devices/systems function at optimal levels.

Ensures the overall security readiness of data center systems. Provides support for hardware and software in a multi-tiered, multi-platform environment. Develops processes and procedures as they pertain to the operation, administration, maintenance and provisioning of server systems.

Responsible for day-to-day management of antivirus, backups, patching, and other administrative tasks. Systems Administrator III Under general direction of the Information Systems (IS) Director, the Systems Administrator III provides advanced level professional work and is considered a subject matter expert related to all hospital end point computing devices, enterprise directory and identity services, and standard operating systems. The incumbent is responsible for recommending and advising the IS Director and BRH Senior Leadership on enterprise service architecture and design, vulnerability management, end point management, security orchestration, automation, and response in support of strategic initiative.

Duties include senior level oversight and performance in the following areas: Service management and delivery. Server management (on-premise and cloud) and enterprise software support.

Security system hardware and software support. Operational application support. Network security solutions, cyber security, and audits.

Directory and Identity solutions administration and management. Enterprise Microcomputer/desktop systems service delivery. Hospital cyber security incident response team.

The Systems Administrator III provides support for incidents which cannot be resolved by the other system administrators or technicians, and coordinates installation of new solutions (physical & virtual) for facility projects. This position assists the IS Director with budgetary projections and with operational management and direct supervision of staff in the IS Department. Minimum Qualifications for the Job Systems Administrator II Education:

High School diploma or equivalent. Preferred Education: Undergraduate work or associate's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or a closely related field.

Experience(s): Two (2) years of professional experience in systems administration and/or systems analysis and computer programming OR one (1) year as a System Administrator I at BRH who has proven proficiency and the ability to perform duties with little-to-no supervision/direct oversight. Preferred Certification(s): CompTIA Network and/or CCNA. Systems Administrator III Education:

High School diploma or equivalent Preferred Education: Undergraduate work or associate's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or a closely related field.

Experience(s): Four (4) years of professional experience in systems administration and/or systems analysis and computer programming OR two (2) years as a System Administrator II at BRH.

Certification(s): CompTIA Network and/or CCNA. Practice Notices: All new employees are required to produce negative drug screen prior to start of employment.
