System Administrator

This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.2HB Incorporated is seeking a System Administrator in order to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD. The System Administrator will bring a great depth and breadth of System Administrative experience to a streaming analytics program, analyze current workflows of the Operations team, and assist in the transition from a primarily Development shop to an Operations shop. The candidate will work with the Operations Lead to implement best practices in all areas of a healthy Operations environment.Required Qualifications:

• Ten (10) years of experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
• LDAP implementation/Account Creation
• Managing server CLI access and sudo access
• H/W Monitoring / Health and Status
• Experience with HPE product
• Performing / coordinating YUM updates
• RAID reconfiguration
• Maintaining RHEL Satellite
• Establishing H/W Performance Metrics
• VMWare /ESXi
• Kickstart
• RHEL8
• Liaison with HW/network teams 
• Support the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware
• Possess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration
