This is a customer-facing role and involves high levels of customer engagement so excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Our System Administrators are known for being the resident experts on our supported products. You thrive on helping people and sharing your knowledge, which is good because our customers are counting on you to deliver resolution, served up with a side of superior customer service Cogeco Peer 1, a global internet hosting company is looking for a System Administrator to join our team in our Atlanta office.

As a Systems Administrator you will be responsible for taking calls from our customers to assist them in managing their technical incidents and service requests. In addition to the typical system administration duties you will be expected to develop the skills required to troubleshoot incidents and providing root cause analysis. You will also collaborate with other internal teams, providing information regarding server health, product issues and fixes, recommendations and system performance.

  • Communicate with our customers and provide meaningful interactions that deliver an excellent customer experience

  • Work on customer incidents and service requests using a global ticketing system

  • Develop skills to enable you to perform server-based administration in a large multi-domain environment

  • Demonstrate an appetite for personal development to perform, succeed and grow

  • Work with our 3rd party vendors

  • Document and share knowledge with others to build a stronger team

  • Assist in managing our usage policies and work with customers and internal teams to find a resolution to their issues

  • Exercise judgment using procedures and practices to determine the appropriate course of action.

Additional information may be found at www.carters.com. * Manage JDA allocation systems administration to support current business strategies. Adjust settings as new initiatives are introduced. Tasks to include writing variables, product restrictions, auto-scheduling, user set-up, modifiers, parent styles, store selections, min/max settings within JDA. * Allocation system improvements (JDA Allocation); work with business leaders and business process partners to write changes into allocation system and to improve accuracy and efficiency in allocation system. * Proactively increase the accuracy of allocation results; develop new allocation methods and conduct modeling of the concepts to quantify benefits. Create tools (Excel or QS based) for allocation analysis improvements and continued improvements of methods/variables. * Hindsight allocation accuracy * Teach merchandise analysts new and refined systemic changes to enhance allocation precision. Ensure accuracy in execution of business strategies and exceptions- co-branded stores, outside vendor, prepacks, etc. * Collaborate with business process team to advise systemic needs to support growth strategies. Serve as liaison with internal allocation team to train and implement new business processes and best practices. * Manage deliverables to align with launch, holiday, and event shifting calendars, such as back to school by state. Develop allocation processes and systemic methods for climate, store edits, markdown cut off, new stores/like stores, and focus stores. * Participate in JDA user group to increase awareness of industry best practices in allocation. * Manage ongoing JDA cleanup and maintenance as processes evolve * Develop partnership across brands to ensure systemic changes support all brands. * Troubleshoot issues in the allocation space; partner with business and IT to resolve. * Support and evolve JDA to support AP tool changes * Lead process optimization and improvement across the allocation function * Influence seasonal buys by providing allocation and planning teams with analytical support * Partner with businesses and IT on all allocation system troubleshooting, work with IT and businesses on EP updates, system updates and maintanence Experience and Skills * 2-4 year experience ideally with the following: * JDA Allocation system experience with functional administrative responsibilities * Demonstrated project management skills related to systems enhancements. * Proven experience in leading a group through the design, development, training, and system enhancements. * Experience working in a retail setting * Knowledge of distribution and replenishment systems required * Bachelor's Degree Required * Knowledge in allocation principles, retail fundamentals, ad hoc reporting and analysis * Adept at Allocation systems (e.g. JDA) and Data Warehouse systems (e.g. MicroStrategy), * Expert in Excel and related applications * Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment to meet customer requirements * Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills * Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Strong customer service orientation * Ability to work cross functionally with all layers of the organization * Ability to be flexible to the rapidly changing needs of the department and company * Self-motivated to find opportunities and improve on existing processes Carters is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
