An IQMS System Administration Support Specialist provides technical support of proprietary EIQ ERP products for Oracle database installation and recovery assistance to users of all levels. This position also requires thorough knowledge of IQMS EnterpriseIQ software.
Based on education, experience and knowledge applicable specifically to this area, exercises discretion and independent judgment in matters of significance pertaining to the business operations of IQMS customers.
Required Proficiencies, Background & Education:
Degree or certificate in computer science or related field, plus 3-4 years experience with Oracle databases in mission critical 24x7 OLTP production environments recommended, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Expertise with Oracle RAC and ASM
Experience with Oracle 10g (and higher) databases administration and architecture
Advanced knowledge of data replication and failover principles
Strong PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers experience
Strong understanding of the Oracle command line
Experience implementing and following database and schema change controls
Provide Oracle database installation, administration, and disaster recovery assistance to customers and for internally used databases
Create and maintain installation routines and utilities for maintaining Oracle and EnterpriseIQ
Provide support for matters related to Oracle, network troubleshooting, Citrix and Terminal Services, email configuration, Apache, and troubleshooting of OS-level application issues
Assist existing and new customers with specifying and selecting hardware for use with EnterpriseIQ
Assist with internal IT issues as needed
Assist QA/Testing department as needed with Oracle/Networking
Additional job duties as assigned

Requires successful completion of EnterpriseIQ training and testing
This is a full-time salaried position based at our Paso Robles, CA office, reporting to System Administration Support Manager.
