POSITION:

School Secretary (1 position)

LOCATION:

52 Chambers Street

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Appropriately licensed NYC Department School Secretary with a minimum of three (3) years of satisfactory experience in the NYC public school system or equivalent.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

Preference will be given to applicants with the following:

• Knowledge of per session and paraprofessional timekeeping

• Knowledge of TBNK/PDPS/EIS payroll system

• Prior satisfactory experience with staff payroll

• Fluency in the use of various computer systems

• Employees who have previously worked with Office of Community Supports and Wellness programs

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process per session payroll

Process unused sick leave

Maintain appropriate records

Perform other related tasks

WORK SCHEDULE:

Hours are flexible, TBD during Fall 2024 and school year

SALARY:

Per Session rates as per the relevant union/organization of the advertised title (Collective Bargaining Agreement).

Contingent upon funding availability and programmatic approval.
