POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for operation of the Hospital Communication Systems located at the Switchboards which includes but not limited to; #the switchboard console, paging system and hospital 2-way radio system.# Responsible for monitoring and responding appropriately to system and environmental alarms located at the Switchboards.# Responsible for greeting patients and visitors at the Information Desks. Provides facility information as needed to patients, staff and visitors on the phone and in person. # EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High school diploma or GED equivalent is desired but not required.


EXPERIENCE:


Previous switchboard and Customer Service experience is highly desirable.

Ability to Multi Task Computer Skills Displays a positive, professional and informative manner at all times Excellent Verbal Communication Skills using the English Language Required Manage Multiple High Call Volume Problem Solving Skills Use of 2 way Radio System
