Requirements / Qualifications
Under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Operational Services and the Director of Operations, the Swing Lead Specialist is responsible for the supervision of the District's swing custodial activities involving the maintenance, repair and cleaning of all campuses. The Swing Lead Specialist will train and oversee the swing and substitute custodians.
Provide spot inspection and on-the-job training in the proper use of chemicals, equipment and cleaning procedures. Assist with the training staff of light, ongoing maintenance activities such as: replace light bulbs, light grounds work, tighten fixtures, snake toilets, etc. Maintain accurate records and files of disciplinary documentation, inspection reports, and purchase requisitions.
Report the need for maintenance or repair of facilities to the appropriate supervisor. Corrects and reports fire or safety hazards.
