Starting Pay Rate: $45,000 - $47,500

Position Purpose: The Upper Main Line YMCA is looking for an experienced Swim Coach to deliver a high quality, safe and competitive swim team program for all swimming levels.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership for Swim Team program, activities, practices and swim meets as assigned by the Associate Head Swim Coach
Deliver and instruct practices and team activities as per the swim team goals
Assist in recruitment and retention of program participants
Lead specialty clinics and practices as necessary including the Summer Team (Pups)
Organize and manage swimmers at swim meets
Actively promote YMCA Character Development and Core Values
Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
Competitive swimming experience for a minimum of 4-6 years required
College degree preferred, high school diploma required
Must have at least 3 years of coaching experience with swimmers of all ages
Any additional certifications that are required by the YMCA and/or USA Swimming required
Ability to demonstrate all strokes
Must be at least 18 years of age
