Job Summary:

Learn to Swim Instructor aids are responsible for teaching adult and youth swimming lessons for the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Program. This can include group, private, and semi-private lessons. Primary duties include writing lesson plans, setting up teaching area, cleaning up teaching area, and delivering quality swim lesson educational experience to participants. Swim instructor aid's will assist in teaching group lessons with a certified LTS instructor and can individually teach private lessons.

Experience

Required Qualifications:

• 1-3 years' experience teaching swim lessons

• Successful completion of swim skills evaluation conducted by Assistant Director and/or Program Coordinator(s)

• Opportunity to take the American Red Cross WSI certification course available (will increase pay rate)
