Description

  • Responsible for delivering the highest quality customer service through proactively engaging all members and guests, and building strong relationships in the aquatics department.

  • Assist members with account maintenance and articulate an extensive knowledge of Life Time Swim products and services.

  • Anticipate member needs and interests, proactively promote and successfully sell programs, products and services appropriately.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Member Experience

  • Greet and service members at the Swim Services Desk in a friendly and professional manner

  • Attentively and promptly respond to member needs

  • Initiate, develop and maintain positive relationships with all members and guests including proactive calls to members that have not shown for classes

  • Answer and transfer phone calls in a timely and professional manner

  • Proactively promote member needs and interests and recommend programs, products and services appropriately. Accomplish this task at the Swim Services desk, Aquatics office, walking the club and possibly via email and phone.

  • Enter swim sales transactions at POS for members, including program, service and product payment

  • Accurately schedule members for programs and services accordingly

  • Appropriately respond to questions and messages regarding a member accounts

  • Process member paperwork, including registrations, cancellations, confirmation emails, program audits, filing

Sales & Promotional

  • Stay abreast of current club events and help maintain the myLT site and glass case

  • Articulate extensive knowledge of Life Time Swim programs, products, services, policies and procedures to prospective and current members

  • Actively promote all Life Time Swim programs, products, and services through relationship building with members and team members

Other

  • Attend department leadership meetings

  • Be available to regularly work at least twenty to forty hours per week, as scheduled by the Aquatics Department Head

  • Function as an Aquatics Team Member when necessary, working all zones certified to work

Customer Service:

  • Demonstrate positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to internal and external customers.

Safety:

Safety responsibilities

  • Comply with all company safety rules

  • Use all required safety devices and personal protection equipment

  • Participate in safety training and safety inspections

  • Suggest methods of preventing hazards to safety committee

Client service Edward Jones FAs are known for building quality, one-to-one relationships with their clients - and they're able to maintain those relationships with the help of the BOA. When clients have questions, the FA will often depend on the BOA to provide a timely response. Client development An effective marketing communications program is only as strong as the person who implements it on a daily basis. At the FA's direction, the BOA updates prospect and client data records, executes direct mail programs, assists with planning seminars, and makes follow-up phone calls to set or confirm appointments. The BOA also helps the FA deepen existing client relationships by recognizing opportunities during day-to-day client interactions, proactively preparing a variety of reports for scheduled appointments, and scheduling systematic contact activities. Region and firm assistance To improve region performance and support our growing firm, we have established a number of regional support programs for all BOAs. While not required, experienced BOAs often volunteer for a program such as mentoring, BOA meeting planning or presentations. They help with an occasional branch visit, workshop or special project. Certain BOAs will also have the opportunity to play a larger role in their region if their FA holds one of the key leadership positions. This generally involves scheduling meetings, communicating with other branches and compiling reports. Many branches also host a FA trainee for several weeks. In this case, the BOA can be called upon to help the new FAs become familiar with processing systems and office record keeping. Office administration This position is ideal for a well-organized person who enjoys multi-tasking and working with both technology and people. Daily office administration duties include assisting the FA in creating and meeting business plans, overseeing appointment setting and schedules, and processing deposits and transactions.
