Responsibilities:
The Private Bank Balance Sheet Lead is part of the Private Bank LFO team and covers all aspects of Loans and Deposits revenue, and balances across products, geographies, bankers, and clients.
The role requires close partnership and coordination with the global and regional product management teams in the business, Citi Institutional Clients Group (ICG) balance sheet teams, as well as Treasury, and Controllers.
Report and analyze revenue (spreads, client rates, LP), drivers (balances, client behavior, macroeconomic trends), RWA and TCE impacts, and key performance indicators to measure the business performance.
Develop analytics on themes that arise at senior management's and finance partner's request and /or proactive research of potential issues including product analytics, client analysis and competitor comparison for Private Bank.
Assist business in ad hoc projects and assess the associated impact to the financials (i.e. LIBOR transition, LP frameworks, banker scorecards, etc.)
Partner with both onshore and offshore (Mumbai & Costa Rica) teams to drive efficiencies and enhance analytical prowess.
Lead all forecasting processes as it pertains to the balance sheet products including Operating Plan, MYF, CCAR, and Monthly Outlooks
Prepare analytics in support of CEO Reviews including business initiatives
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant experience
Experience within financial services
Experience providing financial analysis for monthly forecasts, strategic multi-year forecasts, and annual budgets
Proficient Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
Master's degree preferred
