POSITION PROFILE

We are looking for a strategic leader who sees business problems from the eyes of real people, using data, observation and experience to build scenarios that will benefit a client's brand and business by engaging audiences and delivering measurable value. With an emphasis on developing compelling insights, this person will be an active member across client teams and large contributor to new business opportunities. He or she will be responsible for challenging conventional thought and providing a neutral point-of-view for communications strategy and planning. Our ideal candidate should have experience building brand and creative strategies that deliver ideas across channels, tactics and content, and possess the ability to guide measurement that is aligned with strategy.

As the leader of our Insights community, he or she will work closely with agency executives to further build this discipline and grow a team of planners, analysts and subject matter experts. A strong collaborator is a must, as this person also will work with team members across the Creative/Content, Client Experience and Integrated Media communities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create a culture of insight and ensure the application of strategic planning and analytics into client work in ways that inspire great creative work.

  • Mine for unique insights and competitively powerful positions built on cultural insights and human truths that inform innovative approaches to solve client challenges.

  • Champion and enhance the methods by which teams uncover and communicate insights across the consumer, competitive, industry and media landscape.

  • Lead, motivate and grow a team of planners, analysts and subject matter experts.

  • Collaborate with creative/content, client experience and integrated media staff to develop best-in-class work.

  • Play a central role in new business, from assignment to creative brief to plan development to the final pitch.

  • Develop planning methods and innovative approaches to gather insights and measure engagement; lead or oversee primary and secondary research.

  • Serve as an opinion leader by sharing best practices, case studies and thought leadership.

  • Participate in industry events to help position Current as a strategic leader.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 12 years of experience in strategic planning, preferably at an agency.

  • Experience in PR and digital (social, content, video, media, influencer) is preferred.

  • Persuasive presenter and speaker, able to tell a story based on data and hypothesis.

  • Experience with and effectiveness in establishing and managing client relationships.

  • Experience building, managing and mentoring a team.

  • Experience in competitive analysis and consumer insights utilizing custom research and online panel services (e.g. com

Score, Hitwise, Nielsen, Sysomos).

  • Possess a deep intellectual curiosity about culture, media and technology, and how they affect human behavior.

  • Deep industry network and credibility within the industry.

  • High competency level in MS Office with specific strengths in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Self-motivated, fun, entrepreneurial and endlessly curious.

SVP Solution Management & Implementation (DBG Exec Growth Mktg & Comm) This senior role functions as the leader for solution/business-line development, performance, and value delivery across AIM's growing suite of clinical appropriateness, provider selection, provider/member engagement, and risk programs. As SVP of Solution Management, you will be responsible for ensuring solutions have functionality, capabilities, and program features that are attractive to health plans, providers, and employer groups because of the sustained value they generate, while at the same time producing strong growth and margin to the AIM P&L. You will lead the creation & ongoing development of solutions that cover new clinical services, and develop more levers of value for our healthcare clients. You will be responsible for the successful implementations of AIM's expanding portfolio of market-leading clinical appropriateness and medical management programs for health plans and providers. This role will be instrumental in leading, expanding, and strengthening a dedicated team of over 30 client-facing experts in UM/CM/DM programs, processes & systems, provider training, compliance, project management, and business analysis, as well as mobilizing and coordinating the execution of key functions within the AIM organization. You will partner w/key stake holders who are responsible for sales, marketing and communications efforts with new and existing clients, across all customer channels; while also ensuring direct alignment with the AIM business plan, solution roadmaps, and ongoing client engagement activities. At times you will contribute to the development and execution of AIM's growth strategy leading to the identification and acquisition of new business that will meet the company's revenue and profitability goals. You will also participate and lend guidance to key business initiatives across the organization related to identifying, targeting, and securing new business from existing/new clients to achieve goals in growth, profitability, and strategic value. Understand, collaborate and partner with other leaders who are responsible for other key initiatives such as; blending market validation and competitive research, key constituent outreach and traditional sales prospecting to attain key market insights, pipeline and supportive positioning that will bolster AIM's product/service selling strategies and communications that will communicate the AIM value proposition. Synthesize external validation studies and internal perspectives, analysis and reports to build sales growth playbooks that lay out the sale and marketing road to success. Contribute valuable content to power marketing campaigns and initiatives. Establishes sales and supporting functions for new client and new market sales growth. You will also be responsible for Hiring, training, coaching, counseling, and evaluating performance of direct reports Qualifications: * Experience in leading and directing the activities and large-scale and broad-scope care management programs & operating units, preferably within the payer and health insurance industry. * Experience with health plan and care management systems, advanced telephony/omni-channel technology & business processes, and the advanced data needs and means required to operationalize for scale, efficiency, responsiveness and resiliency. * Experience and success in designing, building, launching, and operationalizing new clinical management programs and services. * Experience in go-to-market planning and sales/marketing/implementation support externally with clients. * 10 years of management experience with significant large-scale operations in the health care industry including 5 years of experience leading multi-state, multi-lines of business including large programs and multi-disciplinary teams. * Accomplished and mature leaders with business process and systems experience in consulting and/or management in health plans, care management system providers, health plan data management, or other relevant health plan focused vendors are strongly preferred. * BA/BS degree in a relevant field or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
