What We Offer

Serving as a member of the Executive Team and reporting to the CEO, this role leads the Global Console Server Business Unit. The role oversees Marketing, Product Management, R&D, and Sales. Measures of success include Annualized Recurring Revenue, Revenue, Gross Margin, and Contribution Margin. Other non-financial measures include NPS/CSAT, employee engagement, and Roadmap execution. Establishes organizational structures, staffing, processes, and methods to ensure successful achievement of targets and objectives. Builds and develops productive and cost-effective organizations that contribute to the company's achievement of top line revenue growth, operating expense, and profitability objectives. Ensures the brand is prominent in worldwide markets with consistent brand recognition and customer/internal messages. Establishes strategies for go to market to meet needs of current and potential customers and capture future opportunities. Develops market relationships with global management teams to optimize results and achieve synergies in the development and execution of business unit strategies and initiatives. Contributes to the organization as a leader with direct visibility and access to other executives and senior staff members. Represents the company to customers, suppliers, investors and/or others in manner that consistently promotes the organization as a company of outstanding quality, capability, and ethics. Manages, monitors and documents overall employee performance, monitoring goals and standards of performance, coaching and mentoring, compensation planning, providing training and development, engaging in career conversations, and providing input on staffing needs. Ownership of departmental budgeting and managing expense priorities. Provides executive level leadership, supporting and fostering a culture of teamwork, mentoring, workload/project balance and priority setting.

What You Will Do:

  • Sets vision and direction through resource allocation decisions for a business unit. An executive with responsibility for a defined single or multi business unit group.

  • Develops and implements strategic plans and objectives for the organization in alignment with the corporate strategy.

  • Oversees direction and approves tactical administration and operational policies and resource allocation decisions to ensure achievement of objectives.

  • Has expert level knowledge of the company's products and/or services and has knowledge of other company products and/or services outside area of primary expertise.

  • Success is measured on team outcomes rather than individual achievement. Barriers to entry such as an Executive team review committee exist at this level.

  • Develops strategic plans to ensure successful implementation of action plans and objectives where analysis of situations or data requires an indepth knowledge of the company, competitive environment, technology and economic or social implications of organization activities.

  • Participates in development of corporate methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people.

  • Approves budgets and schedules to meet corporate requirements. Provides final oversight and influence of business unit objectives.

  • Regularly interacts with executives and major customers. Interactions frequently involve highly visible activities such as speaking, negotiating, and influencing executive peers or policy makers and representing the organization on matters of great significance.

  • Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives of assignments. Completed work is reviewed by CEO from a relatively long-term perspective for desired results.

Who You Are and What You Bring.

  • 5+ years in a Sr. Leadership role (Executive Leadership Team or senior role in a large organization)

  • Excellent ability to conceptualize long-term business goals and develop orderly processes to accomplish those goals.

  • Must have experience in the Network Infrastructure space and versant in the areas of Data Centers, Networking, Communication and Cellular (15-20 years' experience)

  • Must have software and hardware experience.

  • Must be an operator/have run and understand all aspects of a global technology business.

  • Must have led a business that was channel centric.

  • Must have a strong Go to Market background.

  • Preferably had a sales leadership role in the past.

  • Strong technical background and able to manage customer and roadmap priorities with both Product Management and Engineering

  • Strong understanding and experience with manufacturing, supply chain and logistics

  • Customer obsessed.

  • Past P&L ownership in a $130M+ profitable business

  • Ability to motivate a large disparate organization.

  • Excellent public speaking skills.

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Master's degree in business administration
