The Business Sr. Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Typically a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.

Responsibilities:

  • The position requires a candidate with general management skills, leadership abilities and administrative experience, who can manage and lead a variety of activities geared at helping manage a global organization with resources and providing data & analytics solutions to all regions and lines of businesses. This includes building ties with other business teams.

  • The individual will closely with senior Management in Risk Data & technology leadership in their planning, definition and execution of deliverables covering Wholesale Credit Risk.

  • Partner directly with various players across decision management groups, analyze data and evaluate multiple sources to develop recommendations on high-priority strategic initiatives, including the annual strategic plan

  • Formulate and shepherd cross-franchise initiatives and programs from conception to completion

  • Help to manage executable strategies, partnering across the organization. Partnering with 1LOD ,2LOD ,& technology across deliverables. Prioritizing and managing the BOW for impacted tech platform.

  • Ensure consistent controls and standards are enforced across Strategic and BAU book of work.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

  • Program/Project Management - Help provide oversight of the Business Critical Milestone Reporting process and various other executive / client / management reporting processes. Ensure quality, efficiency and accuracy throughout the reporting process

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience in global and complex settings with multiple stake holders

  • Prior work experience in area related to data, analytics and/or strategy consulting

  • Ability to work in a team of diverse skill and manage cross -project teams.

  • Prior Project/Program management exposure

  • Prior experience managing technology deliveries

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
