Silicon Valley Bank is seeking an experienced Vice President to join our Global Loan Syndications team, with a focus on supporting our Project Finance business. Responsibilities Support senior leaders in the execution of large, syndicated loan transactions for renewable energy, clean tech, and other sustainability-focused projects Collaborate with the Project Finance team to structure, fund, and monitor the construction of complex infrastructure and climate tech projects Assist in arranging tax-equity bridge loans and back-leverage debt financing to support the capital needs of innovative projects Leverage SVB's top-rated syndications desk to help distribute loan products to partner banks and financial institutions Create hybrid loan structures that combine senior and subordinated debt to meet the unique financing requirements of sustainability projects Provide expertise in aggregation facilities for short-term warehousing of projects prior to long-term refinancing Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in the climate tech and clean energy sectors to identify new financing opportunities The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $185,400-$278,100 per year.

This position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay. First Citizens offers a competitive, comprehensive benefits program which you can review here: https://jobs.firstcitizens.com/benefits Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of experience in project finance loan structuring, or High School Diploma/GED and 8-10 years of experience Preferred: Experience in renewable energy, clean tech or sustainability sectors Investment banking- capital markets, large corporate or commercial experience Strong understanding of project finance structures, tax equity investments, and innovative financing solutions Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills to evaluate project economics and risks Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with clients, partners and internal stakeholders MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred Passion for supporting the growth of sustainable technologies and infrastructure
