Job Description - Sustainable Manufacturing Global Operations Program Lead
Implement the sustainable manufacturing strategy and roadmap for Scope 1, Scope 2 and Water recycling in coordination with the Sustainable Manufacturing Program Director, Site Leads, Controller, and Procurement Director including:
Develop business processes, training, reports and analytics to aid in achieving corporate Sustainable Manufacturing goals.
Ensures Technical Project Review via review board
Proactively maintain alignment of the Carbon Reduction and Water Recycling projects at each NXP manufacturing location. Resolve issues and initiate appropriate corrective action
Support NXP's carbon reduction model to facilitate prediction of performance toward carbon and water targets by ensuring that projects are accurately reflected
Standardizes methods and output for site project spend and CapEx reporting
Maintain database for program capex status, to include the CapEx Master File ESG updates
Ensure that FE and AT site Operations updates to project input for NXP's carbon reduction model are timely and accurate to facilitate prediction of performance toward carbon and water targets
Utilize data, benchmarking (via research and participation in external working groups), and other relevant experience to provide direction for site project selection, prioritization, and planning.
Assesses FE and AT program risk and creates contingency plans
Additional responsibilities include:
Research current and developing Sustainable Manufacturing technologies and engage with suppliers to determine possible fit for NXP. Engage appropriate internal and external stakeholders and bring forward recommended business cases
Provide input into opportunities for taxes/incentives in all manufacturing locations, as well maintaining interaction with NXP teams that track global regulations and guidelines
Represent NXP in forums focused on new technologies or reduction/recycle initiatives
Report progress of the program as needed to the Program Director, Steering Team and Program Board
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's in engineering or related field and 12 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. 5+ years' experience in FE semiconductor manufacturing.
Experience working as a Manager or Technical project lead as well as developing deep expertise on a topic; global project leadership desired. PMP certification strongly desired.
Ability to function effectively across internal and external cross-functional organizations.
Proven success preparing and delivering presentations to the executive level and external groups required. Can clearly and concisely reflect issues and recommendations to enable decisions that have significant financial implications for the company.
Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and Teams or equivalents required; Excel query, Power BI, and data visualization skills desired.
Ability to travel (15-25%)
Experience successfully adapting to changing demands required.
