Pace University's Elisabeth Haub School of Law is hiring a Sustainable Business Law Graduate Fellow. The Fellow will work part-time in the Sustainable Business Law Hub and the Pace Environmental Law Program while working towards an LL.M in Environmental Law.
The Sustainable Business Law Hub
Haub Law's Sustainable Business Law Hub serves as an incubator space, student-training program, research endeavor, and think tank devoted to addressing global sustainability challenges through policy and research projects, relationships and ESG consulting with the business community, and capacity building in private environmental governance and sustainability strategies.
The Hub incorporates the three pillars of sustainability- economic, social, and environmental welfare-into global business practices by engaging in research and policy development, improving public law and governance, and working with existing industry, the small business community, and the community at-large to develop and employ innovative private environmental models and sustainability practices.
Working directly with faculty experts, students participating in the Hub receive practical training and experience in using the law to foster sustainable business practices and gain direct experience by working with the sustainability experts at major corporations devoted to promoting sustainability in their brands.
The Sustainable Business Law Hub focuses on knowledge transfer, identifying best practices among sustainability leaders, and facilitating collaboration with small businesses and nonprofits to allow these lesser-funded organizations to benefit from the experience of more established businesses.
