Sustainability Outreach And Communications Associate

The Sustainability Associate will support the Office of Sustainability in managing outreach and communications programs that engage students living in residence halls and fraternity/sorority chapters in designed sustainability behavior programs as well as outreach to engage faculty, staff, and off-campus students. The Associate will directly support the Office of Sustainability Outreach Coordinator in carrying out two green housing programs: the Green Chapter Program in DFSL, and the Green Terp Program in DRL.

The Associate will interact with and/or advise staff and students will collaborate as needed with staff in various offices, including but not limited to Resident Life, Fraternity and Sorority Life, Dining Services, Transportation Services, Living/Learning Programs, Facilities Management, and Residential Facilities. The Associate will also provide support and assistance to Office of Sustainability programs and initiatives including communications. This is a twelve-month contractual position with funding for one year and the prospect of continuing funding for additional years based on the successful implementation of programs. The position may require evening weekend work.
