What You'll Do:
The Sustainability Intern will assist DRC with a variety of tasks, including data collection and analysis, communications, trainings, and program oversight. Projects may include the following:
Assist in development, oversight, and use of usage data and energy tracking systems, including Jade Track and Elytus
Research benchmarking against similar organizations
Assist in preparation of sustainability plans and reports
Prepare presentations as needed
Keep organized spreadsheets to track incoming information/data.
Assist the Energy Conservation and Sustainability Admin as needed in daily tasks
Fill in Roots of Success Certificates and upload to JadeTrack
Keeping notes for reoccurring meetings
Following up with institutions for Sustainability Audit submission and help in completing
Connecting with Green Teams at institutions and brainstorming Green Team monthly challenges
Tracking goal metrics through data analysis in the JadeTrack and Elytus portal
Not required but would prefer:
Construction, Engineering, Business, or Information Technology major, TechNet, or SQL Queries
Construction/Maintenance experience
Ability to collect, analyze and present research data
Independent Worker requiring little guidance
THIS IS A TEMPORARY PART-TIME UNCLASSIFIED POSITION WORKING 8 - 16 HOURS PER WEEK
THIS POSITION COULD WORK REMOTELY WITH OCCASIONAL SITE VISITS TO VARIOUS FACILITIES
