What You'll Do:

The Sustainability Intern will assist DRC with a variety of tasks, including data collection and analysis, communications, trainings, and program oversight. Projects may include the following:

• Assist in development, oversight, and use of usage data and energy tracking systems, including Jade Track and Elytus

• Research benchmarking against similar organizations

• Assist in preparation of sustainability plans and reports

• Prepare presentations as needed

• Keep organized spreadsheets to track incoming information/data.

• Assist the Energy Conservation and Sustainability Admin as needed in daily tasks

• Fill in Roots of Success Certificates and upload to JadeTrack

• Keeping notes for reoccurring meetings

• Following up with institutions for Sustainability Audit submission and help in completing

• Connecting with Green Teams at institutions and brainstorming Green Team monthly challenges

• Tracking goal metrics through data analysis in the JadeTrack and Elytus portal

Not required but would prefer:

• Construction, Engineering, Business, or Information Technology major, TechNet, or SQL Queries

• Construction/Maintenance experience

• Ability to collect, analyze and present research data

• Independent Worker requiring little guidance

THIS IS A TEMPORARY PART-TIME UNCLASSIFIED POSITION WORKING 8 - 16 HOURS PER WEEK

THIS POSITION COULD WORK REMOTELY WITH OCCASIONAL SITE VISITS TO VARIOUS FACILITIES
