Join a great real estate and facilities team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated self starter who has a passion for sustainability to tackle a position that will offer wide exposure and responsibility. Your creativity will be used to devise and manage projects aimed at making all of our manufacturing and office facilities more energy efficient and sustainable.
Support and help develop a holistic sustainability strategy for DTNA, finding and utilizing existing efforts and measures and defining new ones as needed
Develop and implement energy efficiency projects that reduce electricity, natural gas and water consumption at all DTNA office and manufacturing facilities
Coordinate with key individuals at DTNA facilities to identify potential energy efficiency improvement opportunities
Develop cost estimates for energy efficiency improvement projects
Provide feasibility analysis for proposed energy efficiency projects
Provide project management for energy related projects
Present proposed energy efficiency projects to DTNA peers and management for review
Manage consulting engineers efforts to evaluate and/or design energy efficiency projects
Prioritize energy related projects for implementation
Understand and work with electric and gas utilities to secure monetary incentives for proposed energy efficiency projects
Evaluate and recommend improvements to comfort and process HVAC, compressed air, and lighting systems
Implement measurement and verification of DTNA facilities and energy projects
Encourage and motivate DTNA personnel to improve energy efficiency
Perform site visits to DTNA plants, PDCs and other facilities to identify new energy efficiency opportunities and review progress of on-going energy related projects
Understand and propose energy certification programs including but not limited to LEED and Energy Star
Bachelor's degree with 1 year of related experience OR an Associate's degree with 2 years of related experience OR 6 years of related experience required

3 years of related working experience preferred
Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, including chilled water plants, boiler plants, air distribution, compressed air, and process equipment, and lighting systems for industrial and commercial facilities preferred
Ability and experience to evaluate the technical requirements of a project, outline the tasks, staffing, and equipment requirements to establish scope, schedule, and budgets required
Ability to work with in-house personnel to identify and develop projects required
Strong communication, collaboration, reporting, and presentation skills required
Experience performing energy analysis, including the use of various energy modeling tools such as Trane TRACE and eQuest preferred
Proficiency reading construction documents, using AutoCAD, and familiarity with current building codes preferred
Detailed understanding of DDC systems, including a working knowledge of systems provided by Alerton, Honeywell, Siemens, Trane and Johnson Controls preferred
