Surveyor

Hiring a land surveyor for a major engineering consulting firm in Hartford County. This opportunity offers exceptional overtime potential as well as a clear path for professional growth within a thriving industry.

Description:

This company is looking to add a land surveyor to their team to help grow and develop their career in the industry.

• Responsible of the care, cleaning, and use of a variety of surveying tools and equipment including field radios.

• They will also handle daily operation and basic field adjustments on transits, total stations, total electronic station, data collectors, levels, compass, tribrach's, and tripods.

• They will coordinate field work for a variety of standard types of surveys under the supervision of a Party Chief.

• They will be expected to keep neat and orderly field notes for standard surveying operations: leveling, traversing, topographic mapping, layout, as-built surveys, boundary surveys, profile and cross-section surveys.

Must Haves:

1.)1+ years of experience in surveying or GIS

2.) Knowledge of data collection

3.) Knowledge of total station set up
