POSITION: Survey Technician LOCATION: Travel required to job sites throughout Arizona and potentially to surrounding states.

DUTIES: Support construction projects with survey layout, staking, and automated machine guidance. Assist Project Managers and Superintendents to produce and work with calculations in the field, read construction plans, and process survey data. Perform data preparation for automated machine guidance including building 3D surface grading models.

Perform quality control on computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) data for surveying and AMG. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements. QUALIFICATIONS: Geomatics degree with 5 to 8 years of experience or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience.

Experience with CADD and knowledge of control setup - GPS and conventional. Experience with Trimble surveying equipment preferred. Knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings & specifications, building materials and required standards applicable to discipline.

General civil construction knowledge. Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with others. Proficient Microsoft Office Skills.
