Survey Technician

Bryant Surveys is looking for a Survey Technician in our Oakland office. Our ideal candidate is a detail oriented, self-starter with a strong work ethic.

If you are currently working as surveyor or drafter and are motivated to expand your career, we think you will love it here Why you will love it here: Professional development, training, and mentorship Comprehensive benefits package Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion Amazing teams of supportive and hard-working professionals Cool Stuff you get to do: Preparing and processing of the office calculated data Preparing and processing of the field collected data and sketches Creation of reports for a variety of structural steel surveys: included but not limited to anchor bolt, plumb and elevation, top of steel or column, embed surveys Coordinate survey findings with others Ensure that all personnel and materials are available for planned work orders, when needed Prioritize all work in progress Inform the Division Manager of any problems and exceptions to work plans Maintain excellent working relationships with all team members Creating high-quality detailed drawings and plans based on designs supplied by surveyors and making modifications to existing drawings.

Utilizing AutoCAD software to manipulate drawing and points. Performs other related projects as assigned What will help you be successful: 2 years of industry experience Strong knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D 3D model exposure High School diploma or equivalent. Two years or more of solid AutoCAD working experience.

Working knowledge of surveying industry is a huge plus. Working knowledge of Blue Beam or Adobe, preferred. A little about Bryant Surveys Benefits:
