Kimley-Horn's Greenwood Village, Colorado (CO) office is looking for a Survey Analyst to join their growing team! This is not a remote position!

Responsibilities

As a Survey CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the survey and mapping services of the Kimley Horn Denver Tech Center office. You will collaborate with a talented team of professionals, including surveyors, engineers, and planners, to provide accurate and detailed CAD support for a wide range of projects. The ideal candidate should have at least 3+ years of experience in surveying and CADD, with a strong desire to pursue licensure in the future.

• Collaborate with surveyors and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives.

• Utilize Civil 3D to prepare detailed survey drawings, plats, and exhibits.

• Perform computations and analysis of survey data, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.

• Assist in the preparation of legal descriptions and survey reports.

• Conduct quality checks on CADD drawings to ensure precision and adherence to industry standards.

• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to provide project updates and address any technical inquiries.

• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in CADD technology.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Survey CAD Technician.

• Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.

• Strong understanding of surveying principles and techniques.

• Knowledge of legal descriptions and plat preparation.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate work within tight deadlines.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.

• A passion for continued professional growth and an ambition to pursue licensure in the future.

Salary Range:

• $60,000-$80,000
• Eligible for Performance Based Bonus Compensation
