Survey Technician Internship

If you are looking to make a real impact, to challenge the status quo, and develop and implement solutions with real results, then an internship at Wendel is the right move for you Wendel is looking to hire an enthusiastic future Survey Technician to intern and work directly with our Survey team out of our Williamsville, NY headquarters. Our internship program provides hands-on practical experience for students while potentially developing the individual to take on a full-time role with Wendel post-graduation.

We are looking for a student for summer 2025 (or sooner). Internship Purpose: Collaborate with project managers on assigned survey projects. Work on various engineering and land surveying projects such as boundary, topographic, highway and construction projects under the direction of your mentor.

Perform related office tasks such as processing and adjusting data, earthwork calculations, boundary line computations and mapping. Develop skills using the latest survey technology. Requirements: Currently pursuing a degree at an accredited institution.

Excellent PC skills. Outlook, Excel and Word experience. Should be familiar and have some experience with Electronic Data Collection, GPS and Robotic Total Stations, and AutoCAD.

Strong desire to learn and grow. Ability to work on-site as needed in various weather and site conditions. Candidate must have a valid driver's license.
