Survey Technician

Survey Technician - Houston, TX

Halff has an opening for a Survey Technician with 3+ years of experience to work in our Houston, TX office.

Survey Technician Responsibilities:

• Organizing research for field

• Reducing field observations

• Preparing data for drafting

• Preparing legal descriptions

• Assisting the RPLS by preparing Survey Reports

• Preparing deed sketches

• Preparing COGO calculations

• Assisting the RPLS with the Boundary Analysis

Survey Technician Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Survey Technician

• SIT or CST certification is desired, but not required.

• Previous field experience as a surveyor is a plus.

• Experience in producing survey maps and plats.

• TxDOT, Electrical or Land Development survey technician experience is a plus.

• Experience with MicroStation and/or Civil 3D is a plus.

• Experience with Trimble Business Center or Leica Infinity is a plus.

• Higher level of education is a plus.
